Ann Finch

Age 88, of Gainesville, NY, passed away at her home on October 14, 2019.

She was born February 4, 1931 in New York City, daughter of the late Nathaniel A. and Vera Shumaker Finch. Ann had many years of experience in the field of clinical social work and she was a member of the National Association of Social Workers. In earlier years, Ann taught science at Letchworth Central School and Clarence High School. Ann also was an avid golfer.

Ann was predeceased by her brother, Niel Finch.

Surviving are her sister-in-law, Judy Finch; her nephews, Scott (Sherri) Finch, Greg (Susan) Finch; her niece, Cathy (Chuck) Mason; her cousins, Mary (Jerry) Councill and Margaret Hyder; close friend, Ursula Falk; seven great nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Saturday, October 26 from 11 AM – 1 PM at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Ann’s memorial service will be held immediately following visitation at 1 PM. Private burial is in Maple Grove Cemetery, Gainesville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005 or American Cancer Society, 101 John J. Audubon Pkwy., Amherst, NY 14228-1198.
