Charlene N. Ward

Age 76, of Castile, passed away on May 28, 2022 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.

She was born November 9, 1945 in Warsaw, NY to the late Frank and Adelaide Dukelow Stevens. Charlene worked at Champion Products in Perry for many years and enjoyed working on the small family farm with her husband.

Charlene enjoyed gardening, sewing and crossword puzzles. She especially loved sitting around campfires with her family and friends.

Along with her parents, Charlene is predeceased by her daughter, Mary Ann Ward.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Raymond R. Ward of Castile; son, Raymond J. Ward of Castile; sisters, Beverly (Daniel) Buckingham of GA, Carol Robbins of Cumberland, MD; brothers-in-law, Arnold Ward of Castile, Junior Ward of Castile; Aunt, Carol Dukelow of FL, cousin, Shirley (Keith) Stein of PA; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to neighbors, Scott and Jennifer Smith.

Friends may call Thursday, June 2nd, 2022 from 10 – 11 am at Robinson And Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Charlene’s memorial service will be held immediately following at 11 am. Burial will then take place at Grace Cemetery in Castile. There will be a reception held after the services at the Wolf Creek Event Center, 12 S. Main St., Castile, NY.
