Sue A. Woodward

SUE A. WOODWARD

Age 74, of Bliss, NY passed away on November 20, 2018 at Buffalo General Hospital.

She was born August 27, 1944 in Olean, NY daughter of the late Howard and Geraldine Warner Smith. Sue was employed as a certified nurse’s aide, first at East Side Nursing Home in Warsaw and then for many years at the former Manor Oak Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw. She was a member of the Castile Baptist Church.

Sue was a member of the YMCA Silver Sneakers group. She enjoyed reading, playing cards and doing puzzles. She also enjoyed watching movies and was a Buffalo Bills fan. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.

Surviving are her husband of fifty-five years, Marion Woodward; her children, Patricia (James) Henderson of Warsaw, Carin Williams of Avon, Serena Cummins of Castile, Michael (Tricia) Woodward of Warsaw; her grandchildren, Robert Blasdell, Jr., Lee Seda, Alexandra Stanford, Hannah Henderson, Morgan Henderson, Tesla Cummins, Savannah Cummins, Ethan Woodward, Dyson Woodward, Jett Woodward; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Jordan, Derrick; her siblings, Bobbie (Brent) Bestram of Worland, Wyo., Terri Smith of Juliaetta, Idaho, Larry (Tina) Smith of Worland, Wyo.; several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Merriann Clarke.

Friends may call Thursday, November 29 from 5 – 7 PM at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Sue’s memorial service will be held immediately following visitation at 7 PM.
